The Squirrel Games! Consider this my addition to The Hunger Games fanaticism. I’m reading Book 2 right now, and so far there’s been so much mention of killing squirrels, that I had to think the squirrels would rebel. So I created this comic…check it out!
Mitt Romney’s always smiling when he’s on a cell phone. Who’s he talking to? What’s he saying?
It’s election season again, and Luis M. Navarro and I thought it would be hilarious to take pictures of Mitt Romney happily gabbing on a cell phone (there are a lot of these photos for some reason) and imagine who else he’s talking to. Everyone from Charlie Sheen to Donald Trump, we imagined, and also came up with the conversations. Hence, Conversations with Mitt Romney. Check it out!
Geek Week continues! Today I got to geek out about my favorite comic book series, The Walking Dead, in my article entitled, “Why it Sucks to be a Girl in a Zombie Apocalypse.” Inspired by the female characters in the comics, I put together a list of things that would suck for women in a zombie apocalypse, things that the man-types may or may not realize.
Happy 4th of July! I drew a new edition of “Life with Unicorns” in honor of the holiday.
One of my favorite things about these comics is that I get to add to unicorn lore by making up facts like: “Unicorns tend to go overboard when showing their patriotism.” You’ll see what I mean if you click through.
Unicorns can get hangovers too ;-)
Even unicorns look forward to graduation.
My second installment of “Life with Unicorns” is up! In honor of 4/20, I did an edition called “Stoners.” After I finished, I realized it could be interpreted 3 ways: 1) The 3rd unicorn is confused about the meaning of “grass.” 2) The 3rd unicorn IS stoned, just doesn’t realize it, and now has the munchies. 3) The 3rd unicorn is eating the grass (an edible for unicorns) and it’s just taking longer to work since it has to digest first. Check it out to see what I mean, and feel free to tell me what your interpretation was in the comments section.
